We’ve always thought this guy was spectacular. When Smythe mentioned the thought of putting him in the WTG stud, it was a no brainer…. Particularly after seeing the 6 gilts come back from the 40 and 45 litters all sired by Constitution. These matings should fit like a glove. Black Pearl was used minimally at Reeves and Smythe and we had the benefit of feeding a young gilt we felt was special. She won the youngest class in both the Angelo jr show and the Angelo Star show. She will be around a long time. We will be using Black Pearl to secure our strength of bone and hind leg structure within this breed while adding the extra look and presence from the profile needed to win at the major level.
